My Bio
I am into digital painting, traditional pencil art and DSLR photography.
Since lately, I've also been trying with water color pencils.
I draw since I was a little boy and strong enough to hold a pencil. Actually I started with foil markers and copying motifs of the ninja turtles onto foils. 5 to 7 years ago, I bought my first and still used graphics tablet Wacom Graphire 4 Classic. Today I have a lot of practise with it and GIMP, an amazing freeware. But still a lot to learn. An interesting fact, that you can never really stop getting better at arts.
Progress is unstoppable, as long as you keep going. Even the best among us still grow...

Back to the roots...

Yeah, well. I tried out something new, color pencils. Even those, that can be used with aquarell technique. But somehow deep down in my heart, I prefer, what I am best at. So it were only 3 tries of new ways, before I took one of these traditional work pieces and made a digital painting out of it, where I can still spend hours only for slight changes.
BTW: DeviantArt has been really slow the last couple of days?!

The Time has come...

After this break of several months, I finally started to gather motivation & inspiration for another picture. Actually I've been inspired a lot by Geralt of Riva, lately. The consumption of the witcher books and the video games left some traces :D I always wanted to do a great Witcher painting and I think, I am finally ready for it. So stay tuned and look forward to the upcoming weeks :)

I think, it has been some weeks, since I have my new hardware running again.
I'm afraid, I am occupied with a lot of other stuff at the moment. My work really keeps me busy and I am among the ones in charge
of a big christmas event at our university, which needs a lot of preparation in video shooting and cutting.
Maybe during the christmas holidays, I'll find the time to draw again.

Those are some fantastic shots. The plumage on those gulls looks almost hand painted.
Oh I didn't expect a comment^^ Thank you. These shots are of a time, when I was using a lot of "after effects"... not the Adobe program, but in general a lot of editing afterwards. Today I would use less editing.
I love your GOG game covers... I noticed them, since I am actually archiving my gog library on m-disc Blu rays. Will print your covers of my favorite games :)
