The flames is just scattered light from the warm kitchen lamp on the running water flow. The ambient light was pretty dark, so the sharp details result from the flash used at the beginning.
For those who weren't there: that's a teaspoon
The EXIF info is so far correct, cause I used the CANON EFS 18-55mm, but in addition to that, I had a OPTEKA 10x macro lens screwed on top.
